-Blogger's Corner II-
Hi there, how are you doing now?
I hate this kind of question. How am I supposed to answer it? I'm doing great now, except for the part that I feel stressed over a few things like group work, group project and some other stuffs.
You are not that type of person who doesn't know how to manage the stress very well. What happened?
Teamwork. I despise it so much at the moment that I don't even feel like talking bout it. STRESS! =D
Okay then, let's not talk about it. Have you eaten?
What the...
Haha, I'm just kidding. If, if you are given 5000 bucks right now, for free, what would you do with the money?
5000 bucks? For free? Whoa, that's not a huge sum of money as compared to 1 million bucks. But still, it's for free *Who's that generous to be giving me that money for free anyway? Kinda impossible* Hmm, *pressing the calculator and jotting down something* I'll keep the money in my bank account. You know, 5000 bucks is not even enough for me to fully settle the academic fees at UNITEN for one semester. I better use the money for education purpose instead of splurging it somewhere else.
Let's say if I increase the amount to 50 000 bucks?
Does it make any difference anyway?
Alright, an infinite sum of money. As if you had just won a lottery.
That is not considered as a halal source of income, haha. But I've got your point. Okay, let's say if I have a countless amount of money *I wish it could be surreal*, there is something that I yearn to have, something that I really wanna buy right now. It is a digital DSLR camera. I noticed something lately that there is a part of me that really enjoys photo editing, video editing and tasks pertaining to Graphic and Design. IT, to put it in other word. So, I wish I could possess one, at least the cikai (low-standard) camera.
I see. Then just go for the low-standard one. You can have one at the lowest price like 300 bucks maybe, if I'm not mistaken.
I even struggle to earn 8 bucks in my life, yet you are asking me to fork 300 bucks out at once just for the sake of a camera? Oh gosh, that's the last foolish decision I'll take if I have to, I mean, if I'm that desperate to have it in the future.
I can't help but to say sorry, you gotta wait a little bit more to buy that thing. Hey, I had this question popped out in my mind out of nowhere, but do you have any nickname?
Nickname? As if Baby, Bucuk, Copok and stuffs? Do I even have one? Oh apparently I do. Back in 2009 when I was studying at SMKDAM, I had a clique named G12 (read my previous blog entries to know further about it). So, they used to call me with a lot of eccentric names, and the thing was that, I got used to it that it didn't sound weird anymore. For instance, Baby Blue Blur dot, dot, dot (something that I can't remember vividly), Phyton in Blue (if I'm not mistaken), B1 (B2 is for Farahin or better known as Ain), and so on. And today, my classmates like to call me as "Madam Faridah Jr.", "Budak Kecik" and "Kakak Cantik", haha.
What are the things that you heard a lot from other people?
You mean about me? Hmm, "You're so skinny", "Eat more!", "You're short", "Be our lecturer", " "I'm so jealous of you".
You used to eat a lot in the past. How come you end up being a skinny person right now?
It's a matter of health condition I guess. The current Aida is no longer the same with the previous Aida. That "young" girl used to have a big appetite (I once ate 3 plates full of rice, 8 slices of bread and some other side dishes at one time! Beat that guys.) whereas this new one, the new side of me *sighing* barely manages to finish even half of the meal proportion every time I eat.
No wonder. What's the best quote, I mean the one that comes from your friends, not the one quoted by someone famous, that you like most in this life?
"Hidup ini penuh dengan warna-warni." quoted from Affan, one of my friends at INTEC before.
The most powerful words from anyone special in this life?
As simple as "Believe in yourself Aida, you can do it". It was uttered by my teacher when I was in Form Three (God blesses her soul, RIP). I'm the type of person who likes to belittle my own ability. Aim high, but expect less. I dream big, but I expect less. So when people ask me like "How was it? You can surely get 4 flat", I'll straight away answer "I don't know. I don't think I can get it" even though I keep on aiming to get 4 flat.
Aim high, but expect less. It sounds interesting indeed.
It is. You know, in this life, we always have to be in a moderate mode. Don't expect too much of something, because it might hurt us when the thing doesn't turn out to be as what we expect of. And don't expect too less of something because it might spur the lack of confidence in doing something inside us. Keep it at the medium level, so that we don't feel overexcited or over-frustrated over the outcome of the things that we work on.
Still remember your favorite lines from the "If" poem?
Yes I do, and I will always remember it. "If you can meet with triumph and disaster, and treat those two impostors just the same....you'll be a Man, my Son!". It's still about "Dan sebaik-baik perkara ialah bersederhana".
This is the end for this entry I guess. Any picture that you would like to share with the readers, Aida?
