Hello PD!

Image
Well well well, it has been a year. Time really flies, ain't it? It's already March 2015, yet I still feel like wishing you guys "Happy New Year"! Say bye bye to past frazzled months and hello to upcoming blissful months. Nothing much for me to share here this time around. It's just another way of escaping from the subtle boredom actually.  So yeah what's with PD? Getaway it is *dances in delight* Well it marked the first short trip ever with my friends in university. What made the experience even more special was perhaps because of them- three lovely ladies of mine from Iraq and Syria. It remains fresh in my mind how the locals asked me if I could understand Malay or not. Hilarious much. But to consider me hanging around with them, breaking up laughing whenever any of them cracked a joke (as if I understand every single thing they spoke in Arabic haha ), it does indeed make sense for those people to ask me such question. And oh, it certainly felt like...

I'm A Zombie Survivor!

Image
*This post contains sensitive media contents; please do not read this at 3 am especially when you are staying alone in your big house after watching any hair-raising movie, ALONE.*   It's kinda late for me to post this, but hey, half a loaf is always better than none. So I reckon posting this, late is better than not posting it at all heeee . As the post is aptly named, ladies and gentlemen, I now present to you guys the most blood-curling fictional creature ever created on Earth: zombiessssss. Yea you read that right; zombies. Well, Uniten generates professionals. Consider these zombies a part of them thus :'D Zombies pun mau selfie ka? :') I wonder if I were a zombie as well on that day itself haha. Running and screaming like a madman, Shouting "HAAAAAA" whenever the zombies haaaaaa-ed me. Hitting against that spine-chilling person- God I literally knocked him with my head. Guess I had been so affrighted that I just couldn...

Sad Maybe?

Felt absolutely incensed and infuriated, yet I forced myself to go into a deep slumber last night. So I ended up waking on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Oh that crestfallen feel T_T My head is just crammed full with lots of trivial thoughts I guess. The pain starts to kick in and so I've gotta start taking medicines again. Oh yea, I'm actually blogging this whilst waiting for my turn to see the doctor. An operation it is this time around; I'm not yet sure of the exact date for it though. Call me liar for I might not be able to keep my words, but I reckon this is my last time joining this orientation facilitator thingy. No matter how hard I try to like, no it's not to like,  but to fully enjoy the thing, I just can't do it. I've put my best effort to mingle with the rest, but to no avail. Weird enough. The pushing factor is not because of the students, but because of the board itself. From mere facilitators to the highest committee members and ...

The Story of My Ramadhan.

Image
How I wish I could have this post written yesterday and not today. But still, let's make it an entry worth of writing and reading for - Ramadhan and its indelible moments. So talking about this holy month, there are a few things that come together and just can't be separated from it (in Malaysia in the least).   Tarawih,   param , moreh   and the   bang-bang   thingy ( mercun   and   bunga api   stuff) to name a few. Well ting , this is how the story goes like. TARAWIH. ( Rakaat pertama )  *Imam recites Al-Fatihah incessantly* Amboi Ustaz, nak kejor bullet train ka? ( Tahiyyat akhir ) Me: “Asyhadu alla ilaha illallah, wa asy ha..” Ustaz: ASSALAMUALAIKUM WARAHMATULLAH~ Amboi Ustaz, awat express sangat baconya? ( Doa ) *Imam recites the du’a ceaselessly till he runs out of breath* Amboi Ustaz, sampai semput nah? *Double face palm* Ustaz, Ustaz. Tarawih should be performed in its own pace. Well not only ...

Freaky Freak; Welcome to My Life.

Image
Have you ever wondered what sort of person you really are in this life? Well I have (always, in fact). And discovering yourself, your personality has never been duck soup. It might take years for you to actually realize "Oh I am that kind of person!" and finally agree with the reality. 20 years plus is a stage in which you start to foster your inner self and shape your strong personality - either you are more inclined towards maturity, credulity or impartiality whatsoever. But you will eventually end up getting this one thing that we call dominant trait. Your vivid idiosyncrasy. I firmly believe that I am a two-sided person, having two personalities existing side by side. I could be both a mature girl or a childish one. Hold on, the word "girl" - it doesn't feel right to call myself a girl any more (way too old for that) and it neither feels right to call myself a lady as well (way too young for that! haha). Anyway, I'm pretty used to act accordingly as...

VMY2014!

Image
It had been a while since I last went on a family vacation, so I was thrilled to bits about this six-day getaway. Sarawak je pun , but who cares? Haha, we had a ball there going to few places (a lot more to visit next time), trying their signature dishes and mingling with those Sarawakians (plus speaking in their dialect). Well, it was just a perfect getaway in short.  If I were to choose between living in urban or rural areas, I would definitely choose the latter. No doubt. Simunjan specifically, sets a good example in being an oasis of serenity amidst the bustling city. Hold on. I forgot to mention something to you guys. It took about three hours for us to reach Kuching from the aforementioned Simunjan, using land route as well as water route (two ferries to cross Sg. Buloh and Samarahan respectively). Three-hour journey and yet there is only one petrol station available along the roads. Unbelievable much, but seeing "RM2.40/litre" signs was almost inevitable as we ...

[KISS PRINCIPLE]

Image
It's hard to write when your mind is in turmoil. *sighs* If I could sum up my day (today) in one word, then it would be GOD-AWFUL. A hellish bad day indeed. I almost got into a serious car accident and then got stuck in a traffic jam because there had been another dreadful car accident on my way back home. What else? Cooking yea; I failed miserably. Well the food was still scrumptiously edible (they said so) but I just didn't get the right taste of it. So yea, it sucks.  Hoping for a better tomorrow. Goodnight peeps. p/s:  KISS is an acronym for "Keep it simple, stupid" as a design principle noted by the U.S. Navy in 1960. Variations on the phrase include "keep it short and simple" and "keep it simple and straightforward". Retrieved from:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KISS_principle ( 7th May 2014)

Abah dan Kuku dan Jam.

Image
18.04.2014. JUMAAT Macam biasalah, potong kuku sebab dah panjang. Sebab rushing nak keluar jalan-jalan (perempuan, tau-taulah), jadi saya berlari-lari anak mencari keberadaan pengetip kuku.  "Abah, pengetip kuku yang mana paling tajam? Nak potong kuku." Dah la rushing , tengok-tengok kena  test  satu-satu pulak. Bila masa pengetip kuku ni berternak pun den tak tau :') 24.04.2014. KHAMIS "Bangun, bangun. Dah lewat dah ...

And I am still scared of that.

Funny how I grow older from year to year and yet I am letting certain kiddish thoughts to remain unchangeable (no matter how silly the thought is).  I stopped playing play dough or better known as plasticine since I was in primary school. You know, I was a kid at that time and so I was too gullible to believe every single thing my schoolmate said. What restrained me from touching as in playing the thing was his words. Sagacious words: " Kawan saya cakap, kalau kita main plasticine kan, nanti tumbuh jari extra tau, kat tepi ibu jari. Kita jangan main benda ni eh, eh ." *chuckles* Kinda absurd ain't it? I used to believe it and I did not even touch it for years (for real) until I've finally entered university. Read; university and not secondary school. Well that is a fact and I still believe it to tell you the truth hahaha (OMG!) Fogging. God knows how terrified I am even by listening to the sound of fog machines. 22 years old but I'll certainly be runn...

Competitions and Candies.

Image
I hate losing to others and so, I hate competitions (any and every kind of it). Competition is good in a way such that it fosters our competence thus, bringing our adroitness to another level. But the thing is that, our competitive spirit has to be controlled, or else it will affect us tremendously. Emotional turmoil, mental agitation and inferiority complex, to name a few are some detrimental effects of getting that spirit out of hand and that's what we call stress. Okay enough with that medicalesque explanation and all stuff. No one is keen in knowing it after all (booo).  Back to the main topic, competition (Man you have no idea how I detest rivalry in my life). I definitely have no problem to perform (read; perform) in front of a large audience, but when I set my mind to think "THIS IS A COMPETITION", everything seems not feasible for me to do at that very moment. Vying certainly gives me butterflies in my stomach, that's why.  You know how kids like ...

April Girl!

This post is so gonna be balderdash- I'm writing this without having any sapient advice or valuable insights to share with you people. Give me a short one minute, and I’ll think of something to write here. Hmm. ********* Dear readers, I've just turned 22 (10 days ago to be exact), so hooray hey happy belated birthday to me! *dances in delight* Well that’s not the highlight of this gibberish post. Ohmygawd what was I planning to say a second ago? Uh. Oh ahha, I was born in a big family with 12 siblings, and I've gotta admit that I learnt how to be gratified and perked up even by simple little things in this life for that very reason. Never in my entire life I've celebrated my birthday or have it celebrated by other people. I never know how it feels like to be in a grand birthday party or unwrap boxes of special birthday presents. I never know how it feels like to get a long chain of birthday wishes on Facebook whatsoev...
