Pangkor On Fleek!

Image
3 days and 2 nights well spent I would say. It should have been a team building event some sort, but I guess it's better said as team breaking instead for me. Pangkor was fun, really. Or it might be just my compelling thought after secluding myself for 24/7 works for the past few months.  I remember reading one sentence that goes like "A little of something different seems more enticing than a great deal of something familiar". Simply said,  buat benda lain sikit je pun dah cukup menarik bila kita dah bosan buat benda yang sama memanjang. Just like when we grow fatigued with our routines and start finding ways then to escape the ennui, the relief is just like "ahhh finally" though it might only be 5 minutes break from the same thing over and over again. So back to this Pangkor, what's with the hype after all? Apart from their legendary anchovies, salted fish and dried shredded squid nibbles whatnot (because food is my priority, as always) , the

Banana The Minions The Champion!

BA BA BA BABANANA BA BA BA BABANANA BANANA NA AHH  POTATO NA AH AH BANANA AH AH Okay cut it off people; I know you're humming to it now. I'm a potato and I like banana a lot, but that doesn't make a minion though. What makes me become one is because of this fruity match and we ended it in minion-esque way, pretty much I guess. Okay  I'm one of the all yellow and average size Banana-cum-Minion people, cheering with "Nana" annoying sounds all the way long, like literally yeah. But who cares, we won the game after all! We had an utter blast you know, from badminton to table tennis (why should people play tennis on a table though), to this grand finale of so-called TEM family day. All those frolic games from kaki galah to kembar siam to hit-and-run cans whatnots; man I almost lost my voice for cheering non-stop haha! It happened just in time when I was about to lose my spirit because of incessant mental and emotional tu

The Running Kurkur (Kura Kura)

November; and we are reaching the end of 2017 real soon people. Time flies indeed, but I’m pretty sure it travels with private jets rather than commercial airplanes these days ahha! Hello beautiful souls (saying this merely because you are reading this gibberish post now keke )! I have started joining a few runs this year itself, so I guess it is worth of writing this time around. No if you think I really have the athletic passion for running some sort, you are wrong. Hence the given post title; I am as slow as a tortoise when it comes to running, but I still want to run whenever I have the chance to. I am neither athletic nor fit enough to get myself involved with any kinds of sports or oh well, for every single physical activity, basically. Loser much, I know right. But it struck me early this year that it might be a good idea to actually give it a try in sports, or jogging to the very least – because my weight starts to increase after five years of being underweight and i

2 hours drive turned to 4 instead, thanks to the heavy traffic (because I just can't blame the rain). Guess I had enough workout for my foot, playing with the accelerator and brake pedals all the way long. Well if you are familiar enough with Melaka roads, you would be crying imagining the traffic after those hectic working hours, what more on Friday. Imagine the chaotic small roads crammed with people, with cars going back to hometowns, to cities for berjimba whatnots. We headed straight to Klebang upon reaching Melaka, purposely to have a quick grab of their famed coconut shake. But guess it was too late, the place was already closed by time we reached there. So we decided for an early dinner right away for everyone was hungry (and grumpy too) at that time. Straight to the purpose of this post, we actually went to this very place named Perunding Perubatan at Durian Tunggal. You may google it, to be specific it is located at Batu 7 1/2 Kampung Gangsa. I would say it is emi

Tie The Knot.

07.09.17. Dewan Singgahsana Pengantin, Shah Alam. Perfectly exquisite wedding I would say. Not because of its lavish traditional-Malay setting for the ceremony. And not because it is broadcasted on TV3 news and Nona show, either. It is something like hmm, you know, being exquisite for portraying the beauty of Malaysian culture in one single wedding ceremony.  Leaded by a group of divine Malay dayang(s), the newlyweds donning full songket apparels were accompanied by their Indian bridesmaid and groomsman donning  saree and dhoti  ensembles accordingly, followed by their Chinese family members in full suits and cheongsam -esque gowns as they all made ways to the bridal dais. Malay buffet, Malay silat, Malay zapin dance, Malay emcee (with Malay language all the way long)- you name it. They had all Malay elements mixed in throughout the ceremony, and they even had Malay nasyid played during the ceremony! And instead of having swanky bi-layer tri-layer cake as people co

5 years or 6 years and a half to be precise, to finish my so-called higher education after leaving schools. When majority only spend 5 years, I had to take extra time to be on the same level as they are today. And this, is the story of my life. I was offered to study medicine abroad back in 2010. Considering doctor as my only dream job, yes I took the offer under JPA and started with A-level right away, uh-ah without a single hesitation. Long story short; things just backfired in the middle of the preparation journey. Forget about that Ireland, forget about that medicine, forget about getting married to rich handsome mat salleh (jk this was not in my wish list back then), forget about the dream whatnots - it was all over.  But, let me clarify the situation here. No I did not fail the course. I purposely pulled myself out of the program due to certain inevitable reasons which actually halted my study for more than a year after the first strike of only-God-knows-what-is- hap
